Ozeri Pro Digital Kitchen Food Scale Review
The Good
With an accuracy of only 1g, the Ozeri Pro Digital Kitchen Food Scale measured our test weights as expected, while good enough for general cooking and postage duties, this scale falls short of being useful for more precise tasks, such as coin measuring.
The unit is very simple to use, with only two buttons available. On/Off/Tare is used to turn the scales on or off, or zero the scales for using the tare function, which is handy. The unit button allows for the selection of measurement unit from Grams, Ounces and Pounds.
The scale is large enough to throw a reasonable size mixing bowl onto without falling off, which is nice compared to some pocket scales.
The Bad
The overall build quality of the Ozeri Pro Digital Kitchen Food Scale feels a bit cheap and fragile. Ozeri could have paid a bit more attention to the materials used to build it. It’s fine if you like the look, but it feels as though it may break sooner than other models in the same price range.
Feature wise, it feels as though something more could be added, with some competitors offering a kitchen timer or greater variety of units, this certainly is a budget model!
Conclusion
Overall, the Ozeri Pro Digital Kitchen Food Scale will work just fine for home cooks, the accuracy is just fine for that. Those of you looking for a scale with higher accuracy should consider the Smart Weigh Digital Pro Pocket Scale instead. Overall the Ozeri Pronto is a better scale, so have a read through that review prior to making your decision.
